Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai, Member of House of Representative of Federal Parliament, has held the position of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister since July 2019. Mr. Bhattarai is the standing committee member of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and has served as the president of ANNSFU, a youth political wing of Communist Party of Nepal (UML). He has undertaken various initiates for strategic promotion to mark VISIT NEPAL YEAR 2020 capitalizing different national and international platforms. He is widely acknowledged for his dynamic leadership and political vision. 

Mr. Suraj Vaidhya

Mr. Suraj Vaidya is the President of Vaidya's Organization of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), and the National Coordinator appointed by the Government of Nepal for Visit Nepal Year 2020. He is likewise the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Philippines and the Advisor to the Prime Minister's Economic Council. Mr. Vaidya is a prestigious business pioneer and passionate advocate for economic growth and reforms in Nepal. VOITH, set up in 1967, predominantly centers around agriculture, construction, education and trading sectors. Mr. Vaidya is the Immediate past President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2016-2018), as well as the Former President of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He holds a MBA degree from George Mason University, USA.

Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi

Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi is the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board (National Tourism Organization of Nepal) since December, 2016. During his 18+ years of work involvement in tourism sector, he has emphasized on travel industry advancement and Public Private Partnership. Mr. Joshi has worked with all level of the tourism stakeholders of Nepal. During 2015 earthquake, Mr. Joshi successfully led the Tourism Recovery Committee Nepal Secretariat in coordination with the private and public sector. Mr. Joshi was an Executive Council Member of Bird Conservation Nepal from 2009 to 2014 and as of now serving Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in the Executive Board and Chairperson for Destination Committee-PATA. Mr. Joshi has been awarded with the highest IIPT Champions in Challenge Award 2018 from "Worldwide Institute from “International Institute for Peace Through Travel and Tourism” at the ITCMS (International Travel Crisis Management Summit) in London, UK. He is the primary Nepali to get this honor. Mr. Joshi has a Master's qualification in Social Science and a MBA from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

Hon'ble Mr. Lila Giri

Mr. Lila Giri has held the position of Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forests and Environment, Province No. 5 since February 2018. He has been elected as the member of Provincial Assembly from Nepal Communist Party. Mr. Giri has been playing a proactive role in the strategic promotion of tourism investment in the region with special emphasis on the development of tourism infrastructure.

Mr. Mike Bolsover

Mike Bolsover is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Silver Heritage Group (SVH:ASX), which he established in 2003 and took public in August, 2016 on the Australian Securities Exchange. The group has interests in Integrated Resort and Hotel Development in Asia, with an attention on Nepal and Vietnam. The SVH has invested in Macau just as the Philippines, Cambodia and Laos. After graduation with a Finance degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1998, Mr. Bolsover worked with Sports Entertainment group Victor Chandler in Gibraltar, South Korea and Malaysia before leaving to build up SHG. Mike was voted one of The Asian Gaming Top 50 (Asian Gaming Magazine) and “Emerging Leaders 40 under 40” (GGB/Innovation). Mr. Bolsover first visited Nepal in 2003 and returned often as a tourist before beginning to invest in the country in 2011. Till date, SHG has contributed US$60m (NPR 6.8bn) in three activities, the biggest of which is the rambling Tiger Palace Resort, Bhairahawa.

Ms. Shreejana Rana

Ms. Shreejana Rana is currently serving as the President of Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN). Similarly, she is also the executive director of Hotel Annapurna. Ms. Rana has over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry. She is the first-ever women to be elected as the president of the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN).

Dr. Geetu Giri

Prof. Dr. Geetu Giri holds an experience of over 35 years in teaching and research work. Dr. Giri has served as a former advisor to Lumbini Development Trust and played pivotal role in the research of Buddhism studies. Also, he is a former member of the Lumbini Buddhist University Council. Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Giri has worked with various national and international organization under different capacities. He has published over 30 books on Nepalese history, culture archaeology, and tourism from Nepal and India.
