Ms. Arati Paudel has held the position as minister for Land Management, Agriculture & Cooperative, 5 No. Province, since February 2018. She is elected as the member of the Provincial Assembly representing Nepal Communist Party (NCP). She is admired for her positive role in the sector of agriculture development and related affairs.

Mr. Gokarna Raj Aryal

Mr. Gokarna Raj Aryal is an agricultural expert presently working as the Project Director at Raising Incomes of Small and Medium Farmers Project (RISMFP), Nepalgunj. Through RISMFP, he is promoting agribusiness in 10 different districts. Mr. Aryal carrries immense experience as a cooperative business development expert in various parts of the country and has facilitated development of agribusiness through guidance on agro investment plan. He holds masters degree in Sociology from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu and Bachelors In Science in Agriculture from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Chitwan.

Mr. C. P Sharma

Mr. C.P Sharma is the founder/proprietor of Ostrich Nepal Private Limited, Tilottama, Rupandehi. He is well noted for his remarkable success to commercialize ostrich products across the country. Mr. Sharma is a role model for youths aspiring to invest in the agro sector through commercialization of high-value agro products.

Mr. Shankar Sharma

Shankar Sharma, former Ambassador of Nepal to the United States has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Hawaii.  He was the Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Nepal from 2002 to 2006.Before joining the National Planning Commission as a Member in 1997, he worked as a Senior Economic Advisor, Ministry of Finance, Nepal; a Senior Economist in the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore; and a Fellow in the East-West Center, Hawaii. He also served as a Professor of Economics at the Centre for Economic Development and Administration, Tribhuvan University. Dr. Sharma also worked as a lead consultant to the Constitution Committee on "Distribution of Natural Resources, Economic Rights and Public Revenue" in helping to draft the new Constitution of Nepal.  


He also worked as a consultant expert in a number of national and international agencies including the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, and UNDP. Dr. Sharma was also an editor to ASEAN Economic Bulletin and a consultant editor to Hydrocarbon Asia, both published from Singapore for about seven years. At present he is working as the Team Leader of Economic Policy Incubator Project.

Mr. Ananda Bagaria

Mr. Ananda Bagaria is the Managing Director of the NIMBUS Group, one of Nepal’s leading agro-processing & business enterprises. Mr. Bagaria has been performing leadership roles at various organizations, namely as co-founder of Himalayan Climate Initiative (HCI), executive member of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries and  Treasurer at the Nepal India Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He was honored with the ‘Person to Watch’ Boss Business Excellence Award, few years back for his active involvement in agribusiness sector. Mr. Bagaria holds bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore and Entrepreneurial Master's Program (EMP) from MIT, Entrepreneur’s Organization.

Mr. Krishna Hari Baskota

Mr. Krishna Hari Baskota is the Chief Information Commissioner of National Information Commission, since January 2015. He has previously served as secretary for Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Finance and other various high-level government agencies. Presently, he is engaged towards Mobilized Interaction, Orientation and Training programs to Government, and raising awareness to effectively implement Right to Information (RTI). Also, he is actively engaged on Monitoring of RTI implementation on Central as well as District Level. He has written several documents on subsidies provided by the government towards women entrepreneurs.

Mr. Govinda Narayan

Mr. Govinda Narayan is a prominent agricultural expert widely acknowledged for his understanding and knowledge of agriculture sector. Mr. Narayan is actively engaged in academia as visiting faculty at Department for Conflict, Peace and Development Studies, Trivuwan University. He has published several articles concerning agricultural affairs of Nepal and has represented Nepal in various national and international forums. He holds Master's degree in agriculture from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan and masters in International Politics from Jawaharlal University, India.
